I’ve seen quite a few of these. Some painted some wraps. Either way I think it looks awesome.

I wouldn’t do it to my e90, but say a first gen CRX, or a Starion? Hell yeah!

A bit more digging and I found these ones are painted and were actually done free hand by a graffiti artist not an automotive painter. He did this Miata too

I’ve seen this done on Gundam models before, which looks amazing if done correctly. While the effect doesn’t translate as well on these cars, it still must be a brainfuck to see it in person.
